Prize Ceremony in Oslo June 12th 2008

An official Ceremony to honour Prof. Gretchen C. Daily, the Sophie Prize winner of 2008, will be held in Oslo on June 12^th

The Chair of the Sophie Foundation Ms. Gunhild Ørstavik, The Minister of Environment and  Development Mr. Erik Solheim and the Sophie Prize winner will all give a speech. It will also be a cultural and artistic event that includes a range of artists, among them Susanna Wallumrød.

The ceremony will be held at Oslo's oldest and most beautiful venue for artistic and cultural events, Gamle Logen, on Grev Wedels plass 2.
